When Sarah Flint reached out to be to ask if I would join their team of Brand Ambassadors, I was so honored. I’ve heard great things about the brand for many years, and several influencers I follow already work with them. Before I tell you all about the Sarah Flint Mirjana Wedge, let me give you a little background on the company.
Sarah started her namesake brand in the Fall of 2013 in her mid-twenties. She studied at Parsons and the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York, and interned at Diane von Furstenberg and Proenza Schouler. After that, Sarah honed her technical skills in pattern-making and prototyping at the prestigious Ars Sutoria in Milan, Italy.
Her goal is to create shoes that women love and wear regularly. She pays particular attention to quality details and comfort, and all Sarah Flint shoes are made in Italy by top artisans and family-owned factories.
The one thing that held me back from purchasing Sarah Flint shoes in the past was the price. They are definitely an investment. But, now that I have my first pair, I can honestly say that they’re worth it. You’ll see in the photos that the craftsmanship of these shoes is unmatched. Also very important to me is the support. I have a mildly sprained ankle, and I (very sadly) can’t wear flats for a while. Fortunately, these platforms have extra padding and anatomical arch support that make me feel totally secure on my feet.
You will see a lot more of the Sarah Flint Mirjana Wedge. They are the perfect summer shoe, and I’ll be wearing them often on our trip to Maine! If you’re hesitant to take the plunge on your first pair of Sarah Flints, you can use code SARAHFLINT-BASAMGRAMS for $50 off.
