As I’ve gotten older, I have really come to appreciate the importance of having a set of neutral classics in my wardrobe. There are a several influencers I follow who always post the chicest neutral outfits, so I decided to give it a try. The thing about neutrals is you really can’t go wrong. I jazzed it up a little bit with a ruffle-neck turtleneck, but honestly, I love the simplicity of this look. It’s important to find pieces that fit you well, especially with wardrobe staples like these, even if it takes more effort. Look for the curvy jeans in an ankle length if you’re a petite pear like me. Try on single and double-breasted coats, and see what length works for you too. I promise it’s worth it.
We shot these photos on an early morning after capturing some sunrise content for Dunkin. An added bonus: having the gorgeous grounds of the New York Public Library all to ourselves! This building is such an iconic NYC landmark, and you know I love books. I did, of course, have a book with me, so we couldn’t resist a few “reading at the library” photos.
2023 has been busy so far! We’ve already had a few good friends visit, which has been so great. I’ve been trying to make more plans during the week, and I finally got to meet Dana yesterday! Seth and I started a gymnastics class, and it’s been fun to see him try new things. We also got him a passport for our trip to Mexico next month, and he already mastered the awkward photo. I’ve been struggling a bit with getting myself into a routine and figuring out some mental health stuff, but it’s getting better. There’s a lot to look forward to this year, and I’m so glad you’re here!
