Since I’m on the petite side, I usually stay away from wearing anything oversized, unless I’m just hanging around the house. But, when I saw this adorable heart print shirt, I knew it would be perfect for a Galentine’s Day brunch…if I could just master how to wear an oversized shirt if you’re petite. So, here are my tips: first and foremost, belt it! I opted for a skinny metallic belt at my natural waist and it immediately made the shirt less blousy. Next, offset the oversized top with slim pants like my faux leather leggings. Finally, choose a heeled shoe or boot with a pointy toe to elongate your legs. What do you think? Would you give it a try?
I finally made it through a very big project at work and it was a major success! I’m really proud of myself…and also very excited that it’s over. This weekend, we’re going to Boston for a friend’s wedding, and I’m looking forward to spending time in my favorite city.
