Maxi dresses make for an easy outfit. They are such a statement on their own that you really don’t need much in the accessory department. Maxis come in gorgeous patterns and colors, with a variety of necklines and details. Add a denim jacket, flat sandals or wedges, and you’re out the door. Although they may be a little more challenging to find, there ARE maxi dresses out there that are flattering for petites and pears. After a long search, I finally found one that I can’t wait to wear. I love the purple maxi that Jen is wearing!
I bought my first Maxi dress for this summer and tried on about 10 before landing on a blue floral one, I was so apprehensive about them because I’m short. Over the weekend I paired it with wedges and a short sleeved blazer for my brother-in-law’s graduation ceremony. It was so comfortable. I plan to get as much mileage out of it as possible.
