We all know the line from The Devil Wears Prada when Miranda says “Florals? For spring? Groundbreaking.” But, while it may not be the most unexpected pattern for this season, there are plenty of creative ways to wear it. For this outfit, I combined two spring favorites: eyelet and floral.
This skirt is from a new-to-me brand called Petal & Pup. I’ve seen them all over Instagram, and was so excited to discover that they have a whole bump-friendly section of their website. I’ve been hesitant to spend too much on maternity clothing because I’m only going to wear it for a short period of time. So, when I find something I can wear now and later, it’s a win-win. This skirt is out of stock at the moment, but you can sign up to be notified of a restock. I also added a couple of similar ones I love in the links below.
On Saturday, the weather was beautiful, so we decided to take a trip to Central Park. I kept seeing photos of the trees in bloom, and I wanted to check them out in person. It was gorgeous, and there were a lot of people who had the same idea. We live seven long blocks from the Park now, so it’s not as easy to pop over there, especially seven months pregnant. Bones and I were both exhausted by the time we got back, but it was totally worth it!
