This year, Thanksgiving took place during Hanukkah for the first and only time during our lifetime. It’s kind of strange for Hanukkah to be so early, but it was nice to celebrate both holidays with family. My husband and I spent a few days with my mom and had a low key, but very yummy, Thanksgiving. Since I spent most of the day helping my mom cook, I wanted a comfortable, warm outfit that I could transition from prep to dinner. Clearly I am in love with both this sweater and plaid shirt, recent H&M finds. I also couldn’t wait to wear this gorgeous necklace that my mom gave me for the first night of Hanukkah the night before these pictures were taken.
Also, THE BOOTS. This is the gorgeous Stuart Weitzman pair that I won from Bloomingdales on Twitter. I never would have bought them for myself (they are pricey!), but it’s fun to have a luxe item in my shoe collection. Oh, and I did a little Hanukkah nail art. For a better shot, check out this Insta. While you’re there, you might as well follow me Happy Cyber Monday! (I’ll be sharing my favorite deals all day on Twitter!)

Love this outfit! This is pretty close to what 90% of my outfits look like, only I usually look slightly bedraggled.
Thanks, Kate! Leggings get way more flack than they deserve! Also, pretty sure you always look gorgeous
Wow, congrats on the Bloomies win! I asked Santa for these boots this year. Let’s see if he delivers!
I was talking to Kelly from kellyinthecity.com and she mentioned you went to QU! Such a small world! I graduated in ’06. Too funny. I was just up there for Alumni Weekend & so much has changed!
